A Cricut and a T-shirt

A Cricut and a T-shirt

Just as I was about ready to sell my Cricut after 2 years of nonuse, a friend of mine showed me how to design and cut vinyl using the device app and my smart phone. (instead of my slow laptop with a slow wifi connection to a hotspot device that had limited data)  WATCH OUT WORLD!!! haha Over the years I have to say, pressing vinyl to cloth is probably my favorite thing to do with my machine.

I guess at this point, I'll insert how the fabric part ended up on the scene.  In a nutshell, I left my cushy job of nine years, stayed home to just let Abba hold me for six months (big testimony about that and everything that happened before the Selah) and made MANY visits to the only craft store we had in town.  Two to three days a week me and my daughter (I know how to use grammar correctly, peeps) LIVED at the lobby of hobbies! So much so that the workeres knew our names and we used theirs. At some point, one of them jokingly stated that I was there so much that I may as well work there so guess what? 😆 I ended up applying, getting hired, and giving The Lobby close to a year and a half of my life between two stores/states 🥴

I worked several departments between the two stores but when I landed a spot in the fabric department, I almost left the job haha I knew nothing about sewing or fabric, never was really interested in it actually (that was my Mama's gift).  Today, building and testing stoves at Whirlpool was my favorite job, BUT chopping up fabric for the short amount that I did was my all time favorite position!! Goodness GRACIOUS there were so many people who loved and lived for Yahweh that my Abba brought to those tables to minister to me and the MANY that He put in front of me to minister and give testimony TO!!!! I called them "Conversations at the Table".  I still do it today even though I'm on the other side of those tables 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

I never intended or had the desire to sew but my first sewing machine is looking at me with a smirky smirk on my left, and my new identical twin to it is still in it's box on my right.  THAT story will come later but I'll say, I've been sewing more than anything else crafty since I bought my first machine two and a half years ago!

My first t-shirt was intimidating but fun.  To this day I have no idea how I learned to cut and press HTV so quickly but I still didn't cricut a whole lot of shirts/crafts for a bit until I got better equipment to weed and press my projects.  Somewhere in the midst of all the cricutting though, Yahweh dropped several projects and a whole t-shirt ministry in my spirit to bless His beloved with.  There's been so many lessons, revelation, and discoveries in all of that y'all.

When I figure out how to pinch off a bit of my shop to insert all the photos, revelations, and testimony that He releases me to share, I'll let you all know.
